For this tasting, Mac thought a side-by-side between two grapes from the same area would be a fun, educational setup.

Cabernet Sauvignon, which most people are familiar with; and Cabernet Franc, which is an old-world grape that the average wine consumer has probably never tried on its own, or in some cases, maybe they haven’t heard of it at all! Either way, Cab Franc is one of Mac’s favorite varietals, so he’s excited to open these wines up.
