Wine Tasting - Las Cañadas Rosé & Brunn Grüner Veltliner

Summertime is right around the corner, so Mac has selected two of his favorite summertime wines for this weekend’s tasting.

The first is Las Cañadas Rosé, a Rosé of Bobal from Manchuela, Spain. The winemaker, Juan Antonio Ponce, has been called “The Prince of Bobal” for his undying dedication to taming the Spanish varietal—needless to say, this guy nailed this wine.

The other wine, Brunn’s Grüner Veltliner, is a wonderful take on the varietal. This winery uses all old-school techniques to make beautifully structured wine; from hand-harvesting all their grapes, to using the same basket-press technique that has been used in the small, family-owned-and-operated winery since 1542 A.D. (yeah, THAT old-school).

Mac’s excited about sharing these wines, which is always a sign that they’re gonna be total knock-outs. Come by and give ‘em a swirl!
